DC Udlejning is your best source for equipment rentals in Europe. Baltazar Management has worked with DC for years and we believe their service is the best. Check them out at www.dc-udlej.dk or email them at ec@dc-udlej.dk

OTHER BALTAZAR ARTISTS:

Garnering superlatives from the media for his mature playing, Jonathan Kreisberg is making a name for himself in the world of comtemporary jazz.

Kim Prevost and Bill Solley settle in Texas

Bill Solley and Kim Prevost live at House of Blues

In 2005 Kim Prevost and husband/guitarist, Bill Solley, had to flee their hometown of New Orleans when it was struck by Hurricane Katrina. They evacuated to Houston, Texas, but were evacuated to Miami when Houston was hit by a hurricane. In Miami they stayed with fellow musician, Arturo Sandoval, but had to relocate again when Miami was hit by a hurricane. They now live in Houston, Tx.

Baltazar Management closes down its internet cd store

Newnetmusic.com was set up back in the last century in the year 1999 AD. It was developed for the use of The Danish National Jazz Ensemble (not a part of the former east block, as the name may suggest :). It turned out that many others were interested in selling their cd´s through Newnetmusic and we ended up with about 100 titles. All profits from sales were given to the artists or companies that owned the cd´s.

As it never has been much of a business, we feel that Newnetmusic has run its course. With the many good deals available to artists who want to sell their music over the internet, the opportunities are much better now than they were in ‘99. Send us an e-mail if you disagree. We would love to prove you wrong.

On this site we will continue to offer cd´s by the artists that we represent . Right now you can listen to Dana LaCroix’s new release (available Feb 26), or how about the latest Chris Minh Doky release, The Nomad Diaries (Blue Note Records) Cick here to listen.

Henry Butler dropped

Jakob Rostboll playing drums with Henry Butler in Alta, Norway

Henry Butler had to be dropped from our roster when he failed to show up for 11 scheduled appearances. There is a first time (and hopefully a last) for everything. In 2005 Jakob Rostboll from Baltazar Management toured Norway, Sweden, Holland and Belgium with Henry Butler and George Kilby Jr.

Bock opens for Mary J. Blige

Kim Bock was the opening act for Mary J. Blige (2007 Grammy Award-winner for best R&B album, 'The Breakthrough') at a concert in New York City and has in the past toured with such jazz greats as trumpet legend, Maynard Ferguson. Kim has also written two books for Mel Bay Publications.
